RoomiEEEEs!

Despite the large amount of controversy over the Fish Alley sign in Sea Isle City, I have a new found love for it...or at least part of it. While driving with the roommates one night, we came across the "E" of ALLEY leaning against it's post on the ground. Overwhelmed with excitement, we pulled over to rescued it, and sped off with our new treasure, believing it to be the best getaway in history. After some deliberation, we decided to get my camera, flash, and tripod to take some beauty shots with our new wall decoration. These are the results:

Unfortunately we did not get to keep the E, as we returned it to the police station after our photo shoot. But we proved that great times can still be had even in the dead of winter in Sea Isle City.

February Beaches

Unusually snowy beaches during February in Sea Isle City, NJ

Snow Days

Moving into our third weekend of heavy snow, here are a few photos of Sea Isle City during the blizzard. It may not have been as much snow as we used to get in Syracuse, but for our town it was crazy. We had trucks coming in from North Jersey days before the storm to prepare, and during the storm there were multiple fires, and power lines were down everywhere. One of the lines next to our house was only hanging on because it got caught on the gutter that broke from the wind. As the weekend progressed, the line got so low I could almost touch it...and I'm only 5'4". Anyway, despite these few things, along with losing power for a while, we made the best of our snowy weekend and trudged through the tundra for some pictures.
