Behind the Scenes: The Canvas as Lens

I love art and photography, so I get excited when I find articles about people who excel at both. This post is from December but I think it's a great little piece and I also believe that what Librado Romero says in the article is very true.....that having interests in other forms of art (such as painting, sketching, etc.) really does refine the eye when shooting photographs. It makes you think about your "canvas" even more by experimenting with angles, and in turn produces a variety of amazing and unique images that may not have been shot otherwise. Of course it all depends on the photographer, but it's an interesting thought.
